The first PLO embassy in Moscow was opened in 1974, it was locateed in Yugo-zapadanaya in a flatroom, The first Head of the misson was the Brigadier general Muhammad Al Shaaer who had a great effect on improving the Palestinian-Russian relations. Because the role of the embassy was growing in a fast temp the soviet government moved the embassy to a building of the ex embassy of Vietnam on Fedotova st.
